Over 2,500 AquaDeck units with a total length in excess of 1.25km, covering over 12 separate structures, will be installed from October 2021 and throughout 2022 as part of the BAM Wills Bros Joint Venture, which totals over 23km of new road and bridges on the N5 in County Mayo.
Working with the N5 structures and procurement teams Eccles undertook design and hydraulic work for all 12 bridges requiring a kerb drainage solution.
AquaDeck was chosen by BAM Wills for the entire scheme and we began supply in late 2021 with AquaDeck being installed on the first three bridges SC312 Windsor Road and both rail bridges SC301 & SC307.
A further delivery of over 1,000 AquaDeck units have recently arrived on site enabling the site teams to carry out AquaDeck installation on the next six structures SC306 Belcarra Overbridge, SC309 N60 Overbridge, SC310 Keeloouges Road Overbridge, SB207 Islandeady Road Overbridge, SC304 Horsepark Road Overbridge and SB204 Drumneen Road Overbridge
